This page explains what personal data Jeotene World collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It is maintained by Jeotene to help you understand our data handling.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, password hash, profile details you choose to add (role, location, phone).
- Learning data: enrollments, lesson progress, quiz attempts, certificates and badges.
- Career data: CVs, applications, saved jobs, AI tool inputs you submit.
- Operational data: log records, device metadata, IP address, error reports.
2. How we use it
- To deliver the Services you signed up for (course access, certificates, job applications).
- To match you with employers, programmes and counsellors when you opt in.
- To improve the platform, debug issues and prevent abuse.
- To send service notifications you''ve enabled in Settings.
3. Sharing
We share data with: (a) employers you apply to or unlock for sourcing, limited to what your profile and application contain; (b) workforce programme partners whose cohorts you join; (c) infrastructure providers (hosting, email, AI inference) under contractual data-protection terms. We do not sell personal data.
4. AI processing
When you use AI tools (ATS scan, CV review, interview prep, job match, coach), the text you submit is sent to our AI provider for inference. Inputs and outputs are stored against your account so you can return to them. We do not use your inputs to train third-party foundation models.
5. Retention
We retain account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle disputes, comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud. You can request deletion at any time from Settings or via Contact.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Most of these are self-service in Settings; for anything else, contact us.
7. Security
We use industry-standard practices including encrypted transport, hashed passwords, role-based access, row-level security on our database and audit logging on sensitive admin actions.
8. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, reach us via the Contact page.
