Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Jeotene World ecosystem ("Jeotene", "we", "us"), including Jeotene Academy, Workforce Development, Career Centre, Talent Solutions and Global Education (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services, or have verified guardian consent. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by attempting to interfere with their normal operation, circumventing access controls, scraping at scale, submitting fraudulent documents, or impersonating others. Employers may not use Talent Solutions for unlawful discrimination or non-employment purposes.

3. Content & certificates

Course content, assessments, badges and certificates are issued by Jeotene based on demonstrated learning. Certificates and verification badges remain valid as issued and can be independently verified via their public verification URL. We may revoke a credential if it was obtained fraudulently.

4. Payments & refunds

Paid courses, employer subscriptions and Career Centre services are billed in advance. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable once access has been granted, except where stated in a specific programme's refund policy.

5. User-submitted content

You retain ownership of CVs, portfolios, applications and other content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display that content as needed to provide the Services (for example, sharing your application with a prospective employer).

6. AI tools

The AI tools (ATS scan, CV review, interview prep, career coach) provide automated suggestions to support your own decision-making. They are not employment decisions and should not be relied on as professional advice.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Services are provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jeotene's aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
